Question: How many students are you accepting?
Answer: At full enrollment, the school will have 400 kids. This coming year, we will be accepting between 80-100 juniors.

Question: Do we have to pay for college textbooks?
Answer: Yes. However, we are working on providing scholarships to help defray these costs.

Question: Do we have to pay for tuition?
Answer: No! College courses within the GEC program are paid by Genesee Intermediate School District.

Question: What if I'm not sure about health professions as a career? I mean, I'm only 16 years old!
Answer: That's okay--we're looking for students who want to explore health professions as a possible career path, not requiring them to make a lifetime commitment. The education you'll get at GEC will prepare you for future academic success in just about any area.

Question: What about electives? Can I take a poetry class? Symphony orchestra? Theater?
Answer: Yes. Each student's EDP will determine his or her college course load. The sample listed on this site is just that--a sample.
